In the first half of a full day workshop, you will be designing and making one or two small hangings or coasters. In the afternoon, you will be able to choose your own ceramic mould to make a functional piece such as a dish or a candle screen which can be admired and enjoyed in your own living space or given as a special gift.
You will need to bring a packed lunch, but refreshments such as tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are available throughout the workshop.
The firing in the kiln will take place after the workshop and the results can be collected or posted at Royal Mail rates.
With over 20 years' teaching experience, classes are taught in an informal environment in my own garden studio in Altrincham, Cheshire, with small groups of 4 so that every participant can receive personalised tuition and encouragement.
Check out my Blog Post to find out more about the day.
Refreshments such as tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are available throughout the workshop.
My studio is only 15 minutes' walk
from Altrincham centre.
So why not head over there to grab
an early dinner or a cake and coffee
at one of the many delicious eating
places round the corner?
I loved the course and especially the fact that you can choose your own mould and make a piece which can be used in your own home. Every time I look at my little dish, I feel really proud!

I really like the small class atmosphere and the attention and help you get.
Alistair Cooke. Altrincham
The course was a birthday gift and I loved every minute of it! I've always loved making things, but never thought I would be able to make three pieces I'm proud of.
