This fused glass tree ornament is a great little suncatcher all year round!
It is a one-of-a-kind colourful item which would brighten up any living space. A lovely suncatcher which would look great on a window sill, a mantelpiece or a table to catch the natural light and show its rich yellow, grey and dark purple shades.
Its geometric design, clean lines and fresh colours give this ornament a contemporary feel which would suit many interiors.
This glass sculpture makes an ideal gift for any occasion: Mother's day, Father's day, birthday, housewarming and of course Christmas.
• This fused glass tree ornament has a thick copper wire which stands in a 5cm by 5cm pine base protected with Danish oil.
• The glass tree top measures 7.5 cm (2.95 inches) wide by 9.5cm (3.74 inches) high and the whole piece -from base to top of tree- is 19.5cm (7.67 inches) high.
• This piece is carefully bubble wrapped and sent securely through the post, with a post card describing my work and inspiration.
• This item has been fired twice and is well annealed to give it stability and solidity. It was fully fused at 800C, then ground and fire polished at 740C.
All my work is inspired by colour, pattern and light. My love of colour and pattern started over 20 years ago when I fell in love with the colourful country which is India, a passion which has never left me and inspires the glass work I do from my studio in the south of Manchester, UK.
